Do you ever travel for weddings?

Absolutely! I have a deep passion for photography, and that passion knows no boundaries. I'm more than willing to travel to capture your love story, whether it's somewhere on the beautiful Oregon Coast or to a distant destination that holds a special place in your hearts.

Do we need an officiant?

If you want your elopement day to be legally official, then yes — in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll need an ordained officiant. Requirements vary slightly by state.
That said, making it legal on your elopement day is totally optional. Many couples choose to handle the legal paperwork in their hometown and treat their adventure elopement as a meaningful, stress-free celebration anywhere their hearts take them. Either way, I’m more than happy to walk you through the process and help you decide what makes the most sense for you.

How far in advance do you book?

To secure your date and ensure I can provide you with the best service, I recommend booking as early as possible. Some couples book me up to a year or more in advance, especially for popular wedding dates during peak seasons, so make sure you reach out early to lock in your date!

Will you help plan our elopement?

Absolutely! I'm not just your elopement photographer; I'm here to help you plan and capture the intimate elopement of your dreams. Whether you're envisioning just the two of you or an intimate wedding, I'm here to help with custom timelines, logistics, ceremony locations, permit assistance, and more!

What if there's bad weather?

The Pacific Northwest can be unpredictable, and conditions can change quickly — which is why I encourage couples to embrace the elements and go with the flow. Some of the most incredible light and moody, magical vibes happen because of the weather. That said, I always come prepared. Every elopement guide I create includes solid backup plans, and I intentionally block off extra time on my calendar so we have flexibility to pivot, adjust timing, or shift locations if needed.

Do you do family photography?

My primary focus is on wedding, elopement, and couples' photography. However, I did get my start in family photography and do take a few sessions throughout the year if the stars align. Please fill out my family form HERE

Can we bring our dog?

Of course! While some National Parks have restrictions on dogs, there are plenty of beautiful locations and trails where they’re welcome. If having your furry friend be part of your day is important to you, I’ll help find dog-friendly spots so they can be right there celebrating with you.

“The most beautiful candid photos.”

"Miranda Corwin is one of the most professional photographers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She made us feel so comfortable and took the most beautiful candid photos of our wedding, before, during and after. We had a very small non conventional wedding in the mountains, during winter, 6 mile trek in, and she was super game for making the trek up and photographing our super special day.

Her communication before our wedding, during and afterwards was also amazing and her dedication with delivering beautiful photos in a timely fashion was fantastic. She even sent us quite a few sneak peaks the day after the wedding! Her skills and knowledge in photography and ability to communicate in a fun and easy manner during the event made us feel at ease throughout the whole day.I would highly recommend hiring Miranda for any wedding, event or portraits. And look forward to working with her again some day!"

“Miranda gave us wonderful pictures to last us a lifetime.”

"We did a last minute covid elopement in May and Miranda gave us wonderful pictures to last us a lifetime. She was easy to communicate with ahead of time, flexible with the ever evolving place and schedule and had great ideas of images to capture. She was fun and engaging and we hiked all around the park for the best pics! In the end we got a lovely package of wedding photos that we cherish! Highly recommend Miranda!”
